Merry Christmas Eve!

Sorry it's been a while since our last update, I've been working dayshift now for about 2 months (LOVE IT!), David and I just finished both our semesters successfully, and I even made it to the President's list this term (this is NOT a frequent occurrence for me, so YAY!)! April 29, 2011 is my graduation date for my BSN - so mark your calendars. As soon as I have my diploma in hand, I will be applying to graduate schools all over Georgia and Alabama for my nurse practitioner degree :) Praying that God will make that an easy process for us!

Let's reflect back on yet another year that the Lord has blessed us with ...
-We started the year with a move back to Georgia into a wonderful apartment community and a great new job opportunity for me!
-My entire family is healthy! We see my maternal grandmother (Ivy) throughout the year because she is local, but we were especially blessed to spend almost a week with my paternal grandmother (Betty) and the rest of my dad's family this past November. I hadn't been up to my hometown in years, so that was fun to share with David!
-I started my online RN-BSN program this summer, and thankfully it hasn't interfered with our finances, my work, or family schedule!
-David started back to school regularly this year and has been doing very well, I'm so proud of his efforts. I would imagine at 30 after over 6 years in the military that it would be hard to go backwards. But he is doing GREAT!
-David and I have grown even closer together in our relationship with God. We have been regular participants in married couple groups with a couple churches all year, so very thankful to have found our "home" with Johnson Ferry's new group for newly married couples called "The Union". It's great to see so many other couples in the area sharing their faith together each week!
-We have some of the best friends a couple could ask for. I am so thankful to have friends that love everything about us, the good and the bad. That's all we can ask for, right!?

May the Lord continue to bless you and your family!

Psalm 106:1
Praise the Lord! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!
